When is the last time you were bouncin’ out of your chair excited?

All kidding aside, I will remember this weekend for the rest of my life. When something you have known deep, deep down, you were meant to do begins to come together, it is okay to get worked up!

  1. Amelia, I have been watching/following your blog from the beginning and can not tell you how exciting it is to “be a part of”. I always wanted to be a pilot but life has not allowed it yet. Thanks to your blog here I get to live vicariously and pretend I am a pilot =) I know you do not need thanks for living your dream, but thanks for enjoying the blue skies and passing it on! Good Luck, God Bless! Blue skies!

  2. Wow, Amelia, how exciting! I was grinning ear to ear while watching your video. When I started my photography business, I couldn’t sleep for a few nights due to all the excitement, and it is one heck of a feeling! I admire your gratitude, and it really shines through. 🙂 Have a great trip and keep us posted!

  3. Ameila,

It’s nice to see you so excited that you’re beside yourself. I really like the image. Have a safe trip. Dulles is a really cool airport. Really like the blog and what you are doing. Thanks for sharing your adventures and dreams. Hope to see you at 9Cares next weekend.

  4. That sounds really exciting, the best though is to hear you excitement about it. It reminds me of of why I love to fly. Listening to your post of Tuesday reminded me of some students I had while I was an instructor in the Navy. They were always nervous about flying by themselves but on those flights they learned the most. Every one of them said because they were in the plane alone they heard sounds they’ve never heard before. At the time they were a little freaked out but they quickly learned they were beginning to listen to what the plane had to say and not the rambling instructor sitting next to them. As much fun as it is to listen to others, enjoy those solo flights. They always seem to be the ones that stick with you the most.

Best of luck on the X-Country, had have a great time!
